Bhutan Leadership Academy
From Vision to Execution to Results.
Building leadership capability across Bhutan, one academy at a time. Business owners, district governors, and government leaders, each working a real plan to a real result over a full year.

Why It Matters
Bhutan’s next chapter depends on the people leading it.
Business owners, district governors, and government leaders are all being asked to carry more of the country’s growth. That puts real weight on the people who run companies, districts, and institutions built to last.
When those leaders get sharper, the effects spread. Jobs are created, talent stays in the country, and institutions run better. Strengthening a group of leaders strengthens everything around them.

The Academies
Four academies, one approach to building leaders.
Each academy runs the same model: group learning, consistent content, project based work, and accountability, applied to a different part of Bhutan’s leadership.

More Than a Program
The Bhutan Leadership Academy is a national platform for developing leaders, helping the people running Bhutan’s businesses, districts, and institutions grow into the work ahead of them.
Who Is Behind It
Government, industry, and global expertise across every academy.
Three organizations that do not usually work side by side have built this together: the ministry that sets economic policy, the body that represents the private sector, and the firm that delivers the curriculum.
MoICE
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. Bhutan’s economic policy and private sector development ministry, giving the Academy national alignment and policy backing.
BCCI
The Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The apex body for Bhutan’s private sector, connecting the Business Accelerator cohort to the industry networks it is built to serve.
CTI
The Center for Transformation and Innovation. A leadership, strategy, and innovation firm. CTI designs and delivers the curriculum, the mentoring, and the coaching across every academy.

Faculty and mentors
Each academy is guided by business and civic leaders from Bhutan and abroad, including CEOs, CFOs, and senior officials who have led comparable organizations. Business Accelerator companies are matched with their own mentor for the duration.
The faculty and mentor panel for the inaugural Business Accelerator cohort will be announced ahead of the application deadline.
